Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
If you saw my Color Throwdown Challenge card from earlier today you might think this one looks eerily similar, and it does, LOL! When I was working on that card I made a bunch of flowers using Stitched Flowers Die-namics and ended up not using them all so I thought why not recycle that color combo and match it to the sketch! I’m in a waste not, want not place right now so it was a go.
For this card, I heat embossed Crosshatch Polka Dot Background on Cement Gray card stock, then cut the tag-shaped element with Gift Tag Die-namics from Kraft card stock and stamped the sentiment from Sugar-Coated Sentiments with Extreme Black hybrid ink. I added the grommet cut from Black Licorice card stock and some hemp cord through the hole.
The flowers were already assembled so it was just a matter of adhering them with hot glue and finishing it off with some matching enamel dots.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
