Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge!! This week's hostess is Lynn and she has a Spring-has-sprung color palette for us to play with! Hope to see you joining us this week!
I used the photo for inspiration as well as the colors for my card today. I'm using MFT's just-released BB Sittin' Pretty Stamp Set and Die-namics and was further inspired by sentiment from More Essential Sentiments.
To begin, I stenciled molding paste through English Brick Wall Stencil on Sweet Tooth card stock and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base when dry. I went back later and added Cement Gray dye ink to give it just a little more definition.
Next I stamped the images with Extreme Black hybrid ink on No Line Coloring card stock and colored them with Copic markers.
The sentiment was stamped on Sour Apple card stock cut with Grassy Fields Die-namics. The door image was sandwiched between the two pieces and foam tape was used for dimension. The remaining images were popped up on foam for the finish.
