Hoppy Spring - Stamp Simply #132

It's Stamp Simply time! This week, Sharon has challenged us to make an Easter or Spring card. In her words:

Friday, March 26 - ssnotime132 - Easter - Easter is fast approaching. Today let us make some creations that are Easter themed -- these could be projects that are specific to the Christian celebration of Easter itself -- or more generically to spring and the the new birth of flowers, grasses and fresh new life. And remember, this challenge is not limited to cards only -- anything goes -- so have fun!

OK, so I decided this bunny cracking open this egg was a sign of new life ;-) These images are from My Favorite Things' What's Crackin'? set and I had so much fun making this card. The patterned paper is a digital download, also from MFT, called Easter Daisies Collection, and I'm using Orchid Opulence and Yoyo Yellow card stock. How often do you see that, LOL? I stamped my little images on Perfect Paper Panels with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, did a little coloring with Copic markers, and mostly paper pieced. Finally, I tied a yellow gingham ribbon on from MFT's Perfect Plaid Ribbon collection. Aren't those peeps adorable!?

Here's the inside with a sentiment from the set:

So, now it's your turn. Come along and play and take us up on the challenge--we'd love to see what you come up with. If you do, be sure to leave the link to your project on Sharon's blog using Mr. Linky. Please use the keyword ssnotime132 if you upload to a public forum. And don't forget to check out Sharon's fabulous sample and also the great designs from the Stamp Simply team and leave 'em some love!
