Flourishes October Sneak Peek, Day Two


Hi, everyone! How did you like yesterday's Flourishes sneak? Amazing, right? I just love that set! BUT, I just LOVE today's set, too! You know, it's Christmas, and all :) Marcella has done it again with the gorgeous botanicals. I can never get enough of them! And mistletoe this time!!! Be still my heart!


I stamped the image on Classic White card stock with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored with these Copic collections: Poppy and Fields. Not sure you can tell, but I added some little white pearls for the mistletoe berries. Before adding the pearls, I cut it out with my Labels Four Nestabilities and my Grand Calibur machine, matting with red. The sentiment was stamped and cut out with a Classic Oval Nestabilities die and popped up on foam. The pretty border was done with my Classic Triple Scallop Edgeabilities dies. I finished it off with this ribbon and some red pearls.

I stamped another image and another sentiment from the set on the inside, and colored just the ribbon. Love how it looks.

    I love your creation you've captured that greyish/green colour of mistletoe perfectly. That is also the perfet shade of red to set it against. Gorgeous card.
