Thanks–CTD #205

CTD205_2012aug15

Hi, again! It’s Color Throwdown time and Joan has picked a beautiful inspiration piece from which to draw her colors this week.

swatch 205

I decided to be influenced by the image a bit and went with lots of white and little bits of color. I die cut the word “thanks” using my Die-namics By the Letters set and Sweet Tooth card stock and popped them up on bits of foam. Then I stamped the sentiment from Thanks a Bunch and tied around some baker’s twine in each of the colors. I tied them all together with a Sweet Tooth button and some narrow white ribbon. Before I popped the panel up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base, I rounded the bottom corners of both.

Here’s the inside with a sentiment from
Clearly Sentimental About Friendship.

Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:

And that’s it! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD205 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
