The Perfect Gift–MFT December Teasers, Day One

teaserday1_2012dec5

Hey, there, everyone! Today is the first day of teasers for MFT’s December release. Today we have two new sets from Lisa Johnson Designs: Gift Card Greetings II and On the Line. There’s also a coordinating die for the gift card set: Die-namics Gift Card Pocket – Horizontal. How cool is that!? Before I show you my card using all of these soon-to-be-released products, here’s a little something you need to know:

Here are the details about the upcoming release:

  • You can attend the New Release Party on December 11 from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum, where you can WIN PRIZES!
  • The MFT release, including all new stamp sets and Die-namics, is on December 11 at 10 PM EST.  You'll find all the newest products HERE at release time.
  • The guest designer contest is going on now!  Check out the forum for details on how YOU can win over $200 in stamp sets and Die-namics.
  • If you'd like to see all the teasers for today, please click on over to the MFT Blog NOW.  Be sure to leave comments as you go for the chance to win one of 2, $10 gift certificates given away daily.  The winners will be posted on December 11 just before the release party, on the MFT blog.

Alrighty, then! I’m using several new products on this card in addition to those I mentioned earlier. See that snowflake? That’s Die-namics Snowflake Doily (squeeeeeel!!) and is a perfect winter-themed doily. I {heart} it a lot. Then there’s the new Die-namics Postage Stamp STAX. Need I say more? Awesome, just awesome! I cut it out or patterned paper first, then cut another copy from Steel Gray card stock and attached the two on an offset. Gives the impression of a border without really being one. Then I tied around some Honeydew baker’s twine and tied on a Steel Gray button as an accent. Then I cut my gift card out, stamped the sentiment, from Gift Card Greetings II, on the front, assembled it, and popped it up on foam dots. I did a little stitching and some sponging with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and I was done. I think this would make a great masculine Thank You card ‘cause here’s the inside, with a sentiment from On the Line. I LOVE how crisp and clean this sentiment set is and I ADORE the line around this one in particular.
