Hello–C4C #174

C4C174_2013feb23

Happy Saturday! Since it’s Saturday, that means it’s Crazy 4 Challenges day! Today Joanne has challenged us to add lots of texture to our card or project. I can do that, LOL!

I chose to add texture with lots of die cuts. I started out with a Whip Cream card stock base, added a Sno Cone card stock layer, and then started on my doily stack. The bottom is a Die-namics High Tea Party Doily, then I have a Die-namics Dizzy Doily, then both Die-namics Dizzy Doily Duo die cuts. There’s foam tape between each layer until you get to the top, which was made with one of the Die-namics Mini Doily Circles. I topped it off with a Sno Cone button, tied with some narrow ribbon. The sentiment strip, cut with a Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX die, was stamped with Black Licorice Ink and is from LJD On the Line.

I also added some texture by doing some scoring on the right upper corner, then added a pearl trio. Here’s the inside, with another sentiment from the set and more scoring…just because :)

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C174.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
