Here we are at Day Five of MFT’s May Teasers—I can’t believe how fast time is flying!!! To get all the details, be sure to check out the MFT Blog for set and Die-namics reveals, chances to win prizes, and more inspiration from the awesome design team. And don’t forget, everything we’re previewing will be available to purchase at 10pm on May 7th!
Ever since I first saw LJD Peaceful Wildflowers I’ve had this idea to put them in a vase. We don’t really have a vase, per se, so I had to make one :) The popcorn box from Die-namics At the Movies Die Only is perfectly scaled and is perfect for the job :)
First of all I wanted a “table” on which to set the vase of flowers. That was easy—MFT Die-namics to the rescue again. One new set being released this month is Die-namics Accent It – Feathers and Arrows. I used the shaft of the arrow for my table—cut it from Black Licorice card stock and adhered it with my Quickie Glue Pen. Then I stamped the sentiment from another new set this month from Lisa Johnson – LJD Cheerful Blessings, with Black Licorice ink.
Then I die cut my flowers using Die-namics LJD Wildflowers and stamped the images from LJD Peaceful Wildflowers using Sour Apple ink, the new Red Hot ink, Lemon Drop ink, Razzle Berry ink, and Orange Fizz ink. I arranged them to “fit” inside the “vase”, cut the vase from Blu Raspberry card stock and adhered it on top of the stems. I love it when a plan comes together :)
Here’s the inside with another sentiment from LJD Cheerful Blessings:
