Hello Friend–CTD #251

CTD251_2013jul17

Hey, there, Throwdown fans! Did you have fun last week? We sure did and really LOVED seeing all those cards linked up! You guys are awesome!! Congrats to all the prize winners—I know you’re going to have fun with your new goodies :)

This week Lynn has a great color palette for us today. Her cool colors are welcome with all the heat we’re getting here in the Eastern part of the country, that’s for sure!

I went REALLY simple with my card and I’m liking it. I cut out a bunch of Die-namics Simply Scallops, Medium die cut in the three blue and green colors and adhered them in a fish scale arrangement on a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I stamped the sentiment, from Die-namics Ring Me Die & Stamp Set, with Hot Fudge ink and tied around some brown baker’s twine. To finish it off, I added a few clear gems.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set:

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD251 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
