MFT January Release Countdown, Day Five

Happy Friday, everyone! Hope you New Year is off to a great start! To help with that, this is the first day of MFT’s January Release Countdown! We have some awesome products to show you over the next few days that you are going to fall in LOVE with :)

Today we’re previewing Tag Builder Blueprints 3 Die-namics, LJD All My Love, LJD All My Love Die-namics, Fluttering Hearts Cover-Up Die-namics, and Stitchable Heart STAX Die-namics. PLUS,we have six new colors being introduced this month: Cherry Crisp, Lavender Fields, Green Room, Ripe Raspberry, Lush Lagoon, and Lemon Chiffon, in cardstock and all three ink formulas. It’s going to be a colorful month :) Release is on January 6th at 10pm—be sure to get all the details at the MFT Blog.

I have two cards for you today using several of these new products, PLUS several of the new inks and card stock. My first card started with a Grout Gray card stock base. On a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock, I stamped an assortment of hearts from LJD All My Love with Cherry Crisp dye ink, Ripe Raspberry dye ink, and Lavender Fields dye ink. The sentiment was stamped with Steel Gray dye ink and I added some clear gems as accents. I matted it with silver glitter card stock and popped it up on foam.

On the inside is another sentiment from LJD All My Love stamped with Cherry Crisp dye ink.

My next card uses the new Fluttering Hearts Cover-Up Die-namics as its background.



I just love this Cover-Up!! I started with a card base of Cherry Crisp card stock. Next I cut Fluttering Hearts Cover-Up Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock, bent the sides of each heart up to expose peeks of the red base, and popped it up on Foam Mounting Tape, 1/2”. I added some clear gems to the center of each heart. Tip: To speed things along, leave them them on their sticky backing and just cut the length you need for applications like this. 

I stamped the sentiment, from LJD All My Love, on a strip of Black Licorice card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with clear detail embossing powder, then popped it up on foam tape. I stamped the heart from LJD All My Love on a LJD All My Love Die-namics die cut with Cherry Crisp dye ink and popped it up on the black strip and it was done!

On the inside, I stamped another heart from LJD All My Love with Cherry Crisp dye ink, stamped off once, then overstamped with Black Licorice dye ink and another sentiment from LJD All My Love.
