Hi, all, I'm back with this week's MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Blueberry, Wild Wisteria, Limelight, and Sweet Tooth. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
Since this was a cool color palette, I decided to do a water color wash as my focal point. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then, on another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock I stenciled some embossing paste with On the Diagonal stencil. Then, on water color paper, I did the wash using Blueberry dye ink refill, Wild Wisteria dye ink refill, and Limelight dye ink refill. I then cut it out with Tag, You’re It Die-namics, tied some baker’s twine through the hole, and popped it up on foam mounting tape. Next, I cut the block script “thank” from Thank You Die-namics and Sweet Tooth card stock and popped them up on the tag. I cut the “you” from Words of Gratitude Die-namics from Blueberry card stock and adhered it at the bottom of the tag. I finished off with some matching enamel dots.
A sentiment from LJD Cheerful Blessings on the inside with Steel Gray dye ink on layers of Wild Wisteria card stock and Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Blueprints 5 Die-namics and Blueprints 6 Die-namics.
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon
