Hello, and welcome to the first day of MFT’s February Release Rewind! What a fabulous release this is! So much fun!!

I have a couple of cards to show you today—one using Headphones Die-namics, which I didn’t get a chance to play with during release, and another one using Stitched Speech Bubble Edges Die-namics, the Free With $60 set for February.

My first card started with a Grout Gray card stock base. Next I added a Sweet Tooth card stock layer on which I stamped Sheet Music Background with Black Licorice dye ink and popped it up on foam mounting tape. Next up is a Black Licorice card stock layer on which I stenciled gold embossing paste through Polka Dot Stencil. Next up is a new favorite way of mine to use stencils. I sponged Coral Crush dye ink through Harlequin Stencil then repositioned and sponged on Delicata Gold pigment ink in the blank spaces. I went back and drew in black lines with a ruler and fine point marker for my patterned paper. The sentiment was stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock and is from another new set, Keep on Rockin’. Headphones Die-namics was cut from Black Licorice card stock and Coral Crush card stock, assembled, and popped up on foam. I finished off with some enamel dots.

On the INSIDE, I sponged Coral Crush dye ink through Equalizer Stencil and over stamped with another sentiment from Keep on Rockin’ on Sweet Tooth card stock.

For my second card, I went all Valentine-y.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then cut Stitched Speech Bubble Edges Die-namics (Free With $60) from more Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped the sentiment, from Keep on Rockin’, with Steel Gray dye ink. I set that aside and, on a piece of water color paper, I stamped Tiny Hearts Background with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with clear detail embossing powder. Then I did a water color wash using Cherry Crisp dye ink refill, matted it with silver glitter paper, and popped it up on foam mounting tape on the base. I popped up the speech bubble layer on foam as well, then embellished with hearts cut from silver glitter paper with LJD All My Love Die-namics and Fluttering Hearts Die-namics, adhered with my Quickie Glue Pen. Some pink sequins finished it off.

On the INSIDE, I added a sentiment created with LLD Emmitt Alphabet Die-namics.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
