Hey, Chick–SSSC #269

Hey, there, everyone! It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Love this fun sketch with the fishtail flags!

I started with a Grout Gray card stock base. Next, on a piece of Ranger watercolor paper, I stamped Mini Chicken Wire Background with Versamark, heat embossed with clear detail embossing powder, and did a watercolor wash with Berrylicious dye ink. Next up is a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock with a sentiment from The Whole Herd stamped on it with Black Licorice dye ink and a tag, cut from Blueprints 6 Die-namics with black twine. That’s popped up on foam mounting tape, as are the Mama Chicken and the little chicks—all stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink on The Whole Herd Die-namics which were cut from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb, with and colored with Copic markers. The flags were made with Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and Stitched Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics, from Orange Fizz card stock stamped with LJD Darling Dots and Sweet Tooth pigment ink, Sweet Tooth card stock with Striped Backgrounds and Black Licorice dye ink, and Black Licorice card stock. I finished off with some enamel dots.

Another sentiment from The Whole Herd was stamped on the inside.

And that’s it! Fun sketch for a fun card! Hope you’ll have a chance to play along with us this week. Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
