Can’t Wait to Hug You

Hello, everyone! I really love the large font used in the True Friends stamp set. Today I’m sharing another card using it and another favorite stencil, Tiny Triangles Stencil. This card is using products from MFT’s April release and I never got around to blogging it.

I started with a Steel Gray card stock base, then I stamped the sentiment on some Ranger watercolor paper. Even though watercolor paper has some texture, I was able to get a good image by using my MISTI. Next I stenciled on these inks in a randomish pattern around the sentiment: Orange Fizz dye ink, Daffodil dye ink, Blueberry dye ink, Lush Lagoon dye ink, Summer Splash dye ink, Cherry Crisp dye ink, Tropical Teal dye ink. I finished off with some clear sequins. It came together pretty fast--I think the triangles seem to be “hugging” the sentiment :)
