MFT June Release Countdown, Day Five

Hello, there and welcome to the first day of MFT’s June Release Countdown! OMGosh! Multi-step stamping at it’s best, I tell ya! I love these flowers—and that sentiment set! Swoon!!! I wanted to make a fairly simple card that would pack a punch and these orange flowers came through! I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then cut more Sweet Tooth card stock with the new Zig Zag Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics and stamped the sentiment from Written in Watercolor with Black Licorice dye ink. Then I stamped up three of the flowers and the two leaves with the following ink, bottom up: Orange Fizz dye ink, Orange Zest dye ink, Persimmon dye ink, Limelight dye ink, Sour Apple dye ink, and Jellybean Green dye ink. The flower centers were stamped with Black Licorice dye ink. After they were stamped up the only thing left was to adhere them, some popped up on foam mounting tape, and to add a few enamel dots for balance.




Another sentiment from Written in Watercolor was stamped on the inside.
