Where shall I start? I shall start by saying I’ve made three cards with this kit and I have no problem saying it’s my favorite kit yet! Simply put, I am in LOVE with these flowers!!! Today’s card is “In the Box” meaning I used only the products included in the kit with the exception of adhesive.
I started with a Kraft card stock base and stamped a sentiment from All Occasion Sentiments (included in the kit) all over with Versamark. I love the subtle look Versamark on Kraft provides—it’s perfect for a background. Then I cut some Smooth White card stock on an angle and popped it up on foam mounting tape and started making my flowers using Stitched Flowers Die-namics. For these I used the “hot” colors in the kit and to add some dimension, I shaped them a bit before adhering layers together with hot glue. The two greens in the kit are perfect for the leaves.
I arranged them the way I wanted and adhered them to the card front with both foam mounting tape and hot glue. Aren’t they gorgeous???!!! I’m completely smitten with them!
