Hey, everyone, it’s time for a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! Broni is our hostess this week and I love the cool color palette she’s chosen for us to work with.
I used LLD Sweet Succulents and LLD Sweet Succulents Die-namics a couple of weeks ago and had forgotten how much I love this set so I got it out again. I stamped the cactus and pot on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored them with Copic markers. I trimmed off the blooms on the cactus since I couldn’t use another color for them and covered the post with Glossy Accents.
I added a strip of Graphic Grid Paper Pack across the bottom, a heat embossed sentiment and a dry embossed background using Radiating Rays Stencil. The opening was cut with Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and I used Puffy Clouds as an accent.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD433 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd433 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented March Guest Designer, Lisa Lara!
