Hello and welcome to Day Five of MFT’s March Release Countdown! Spring is definitely in the air and everything is coming up daisies with another fabulous release! Today we’re previewing Sow Much Cuteness Stamp Set, Sow Much Cuteness Die-namics, Lions and Tigers Stamp Set, Lions and Tigers Die-namics, Mesh Background, and Slider Channel Companion Windows Die-namics. Release is on March 7th at 9pm Eastern so mark your calendars. And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog to get all the details.
I have a couple of cards to share with you today, first up this very happy piggy from Sow Much Cuteness. I did a watercolor wash for the background using Peerless Watercolors on Ranger Watercolor Paper then added a strip of Black Licorice card stock across the bottom. I popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam mounting tape after stamping the sentiment.
I stamped Sour Apple card stock with the new Mesh Background, cut it with Grassy Fields Die-namics, and added it to the card front. Next I stamped the piggy and lots of daisies with Black Licorice hybrid ink on X-Press It Blending Card, cut them out with the coordinating Sow Much Cuteness Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, and added them to the scene with foam mounting tape. A Sunshine card stock sun, cut with Radiant Sun Die-namics, and Puffy Clouds Die-namics finish it off.
Next up is an adorable little tiger offering some serious encouragement.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, added strips of Black Licorice card stock on either side stamped with Mesh Background and Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Next, on another panel of Sweet Tooth card stock, I airbrushed my background with a Copic marker, added Grassy Hills Die-namics, cut from Sour Apple card stock and Jellybean Green card stock after stamping the sentiment, and popped up my tiger image on foam mounting tape.
The image was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating die, and colored with Copic markers. I finished off with Sunny Skies Die-namics cut from Sunshine card stock and Cloud 9 Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock.
And that’s it for Day Five of MFT’s March Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for more goodies on Day Four!

Two delightful cards, Barbara. They showcase how well the various stamps and dies from this release work so well together. Love that pig!ReplyDelete
Barbara, both of your cards are adorable. I love the two different suns you used. I also love how you used the background stamp, once as definitely a background and in the second instance as ground where the flowers grow. That tiger is so cute! Thanks for sharing.ReplyDelete
