Hi, all, I'm back with this week's MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Razzle Berry, Cornflower, Lavender Fields, and Blue Yonder. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
I decided to go CAS and quick and easy for this color combo. I started by stamping the word “Kindness” from Kind Words on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Versamark and heat embossing with white detail embossing powder. Then I did a watercolor wash with all four colors using Peerless Watercolors and stamped Distressed Patterns randomly with Black Licorice hybrid ink along with the sentiment from Kind Words.
Then I cut Kind & Kindness Die-namics from Black Licorice card stock three times, adhered them in a stack and then to the card front, slightly offset from the embossed image. I popped the card front up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base and it was done.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
