MFT July Release Countdown, Day Two

Hello and welcome back to Day Two of MFT’s July Release Countdown! It’s getting close—release is tomorrow night, July 11, at 9pm, Eastern so mark your calendars. Today we’re previewing Jungle Gym Stamp Set, Jungle Gym Die-namics, Fierce Friends Stamp Set, Fierce Friends Die-namics, Mini Cloud Edges Stencil, Big Thanks Die-namics - previous Free with $60, Proper Pinstripes Pastels Paper Pack, and Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots Pastels Paper Pack.




We have some adorable critters to show you today. My first card uses Fierce Friends, stamped on No-Line Coloring Card Stock with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and colored with Copic markers. I created my background by applying a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors on Ranger Watercolor paper and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam mounting tape along with a strip of Kraft Collection – Solid Stripes Paper Pack.



I added Grassy Fields Die-namics, cut from Sour Apple Card Stock and stamped with the sentiment, and Big Thanks Die-namics, cut from Kraft card stock and sponged with Kraft Dye Ink. I finished off with a Sunshine card stock sun, cut with Blueprints 21 Die-namics and a Sweet Tooth card stock cloud, cut with Puffy Clouds Die-namics and popped the colored images up on foam.

My second card shows a fun playground scene using Jungle Gym.



I started by creating my background with Mini Cloud Edges Stencil using Blue Breeze dye ink and sponge daubers, then adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. I added Grassy Fields Die-namics cut from Gumdrop Green card stock and some sand, cut with Snow Drifts Die-namics from Kraft card stock.



The images from Jungle Gym were stamped on No-Line Coloring Card Stock with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating die from Jungle Gym Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and added to the scene with foam mounting tape.
