You Are My Happy Place–MFT Color Challenge #73

Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Tropical Teal, Coral Crush, Gravel Gray, and Black Licorice. I’ve been wanting to do a nighttime beach scene and these colors were perfect for it. I started with a piece of Smooth White card stock and sponged the bottom with Coral Crush dye ink and the top with Tropical Teal dye ink for my tropical sunset. Then I stamped the sentiment, from Beach Bunnies Stamp Set with Black Licorice dye ink and set it aside.

I cut Beach Scene Builder Die-namics from Black Licorice card stock and Gravel Gray card stock and sponged the sea part with the sky colors to imitate reflection on the water. I assembled everything on a Sweet Tooth card stock base and it was done. I really LOVE how this turned out.
