Blessings–Color Throwdown Challenge #460

Hello! Welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! Today’s colors are brought to you by Wanda and are based on this cool inspiration piece!




I thought way out of the box on this one and I really love how it turned out! I was kind of inspired by a piece of art I saw online and just ran with it. I’m using a Sweet Tooth card stock card base and my leaves are done using Ranger Watercolor Paper, Falling Leaves Die-namics, and Peerless Watercolors. I just started adding color with a waterbrush until I was happy and stopped. After they were dry, I swiped the edges of the leaves across a Delicata Gold Pigment Ink pad for a little accent and shaped them a bit before adhering in a wreath shape.



The die cut sentiment, from Blessed & Blessings Die-namics, was cut once from Brushed Gold Card Stock and twice from Sweet Tooth card stock, adhered together in a stack, and popped up on foam mounting tape across the “wreath”.
