You Whaled It–MFT Color Challenge #77

Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Stone Gray, Blueberry, Berrylicious, and Bubblegum. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

OK, I admit it. I was freaked out a little by this color combo, LOL!! All kinds of ideas flashed through my mind but none of them settled until this one. And I love how it turned out!

Since we don’t have Stone Gray ink I used Cement Gray dye ink to sponge the top part of my sky and Bubblegum dye ink for the bottom. Then I sponged more Bubblegum dye ink through Radiating Rays Stencil and added a Bubblegum card stock “sun” cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics.



Next was to add Ocean Waves Die-namics cut from Berrylicious card stock with the sentiment from Ocean Pals Stamp Set and popped upon foam mounting tape, and Puffy Clouds Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and sponged with Bubblegum dye ink. The whale, from Ocean Pals Stamp Set was stamped on No-Line Coloring Card Stock, colored with Copic Markers, and added into the scene with foam tape.
