Hello and welcome to Day Two of MFT’s September Release Countdown! It’s getting so close! Release is tomorrow night, September 5th, at 9pm Eastern so make a note. Today we’re previewing Pop-Up Numbers Die-namics - Free with $60, Pop-Up Alphabet Die-namics, Rustic Wildflowers Stamp Set, Rustic Wildflowers Die-namics, Modern Trees Stamp Set, and Modern Trees Die-namics. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the release details!
I have a couple of projects for you today. First up a card using the soon to be released Modern Trees stamp set and Pop Up Alphabet Die-namics and the just released, BB Witch Way is the Candy? stamp set. To begin, I sponged my background using Gumdrop Green dye ink for the grass and Orange Fizz dye ink, Grape Jelly dye ink, and After Midnight dye ink for the sky. Then I stamped Modern Trees to resemble a forest with Black Licorice hybrid ink, along with a few bats from BB Fab-BOO-lous Friends stamp set.
Using Pop Up Alphabet Die-namics, I cut the BOO sentiment and popped the card front up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam mounting tape and using a piece of Bundles of Blossoms Pastels Paper Pack behind them as contrast. I stamped the two images from BB Witch Way is the Candy? on No-Line Coloring Card Stock with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored them with Copic Markers, fussy cut them out, and popped them up on foam tape to finish. Eerie, right :)
*****
My second project is a home decor piece and is hanging in my dining room:
First I stamped Grateful on a piece of Primitive White card stock with Chili Powder dye ink, circled it with the leaf image using Fuse Green dye ink, and set it aside. Then I stamped up a bunch of flowers and leaves from Rustic Wildflowers (see below for ink colors).
I cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, adhered You Had Me At Yellow Prills for the centers, and arranged them on the leaf circle, adhering with hot glue. The only thing left was to put it in a frame and hang it on the way :)
And there you have it for Day Two of MFT’s September Release Countdown! Thanks SO much for stopping by! Hope to see you tomorrow for Day One—the last preview before release!
