You Are My Star–MFT Color Challenge #78

MFTCPC78_2017sep28

Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: After Midnight, Lemon Chiffon, Red Hot, and Daffodil. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I hadn’t used Inside & Out Stitched Stars Die-namics for a while and I thought they would be a good way to introduce the colors. First, I cut them out of Sweet Tooth card stock, popped it up on a Sweet Tooth base with foam tape and filled the openings with die cut stars in the challenge colors.

The sentiment is from Written in the Stars, was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder, then adhered. I added Shining Stars Die-namics cut from Silver Sparkle card stock and two layers of Sweet Tooth, adhered together for strength and then adhered to the card front. To finish off, I added a bunch of smaller stars, cut from the challenge color and Silver Sparkle for more interest.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
