Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Tropical Teal, Persimmon, Lemon Drop, and Limelight. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
This color combo definitely said Halloween to me but I’m over that for this year, so I went with birthday balloons! I started by adding a strip of Dots & Stripes Brights Paper Pack down the side of a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then popped up a panel of Sweet Tooth card stock after stamping the sentiment from Bundle of Balloons Stamp Set with Steel Gray dye ink.
Next I cut Bundle of Balloons Die-namics from No-Line Coloring Card Stock and colored them in the challenge colors with Copic markers. I popped them up on foam after drawing in strings with a gold pen. Then I cut Hooray Die-namics from Gold Shine card stock and twice with Steel Gray card stock, adhered them together, and after adhering them to the card front, finished off with some enamel dots.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
