You Made My Day–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #429

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I had a ton of fun making this card! You know I LOVE these Triangle STAX Die-namics so this sketch was right up my alley! I started by cutting the triangles from Ranger Watercolor Paper and watercolored them with Peerless Watercolors and splattered them with gold acrylic ink once dry. Next I heat embossed Bundles of Blossoms Background with gold detail embossing powder on Sweet Tooth card stock, splattered it lightly with black acrylic ink and a small art brush and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape.

When the triangles were dry, I adhered them with foam tape, added You Trio Die-namics, cut from Gold Sparkle card stock and a sentiment from All About You Stamp set, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and adhered it with tape runner.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
