Hi everyone, MFT’s October Vault is now open and ready for purchase!! This month you’ll see some old favorites returning: BB Toasty Greetings Stamp Set, BB Toasty Greetings Die-namics, BB Merry Christmoose Stamp Set, BB Merry Christmoose Die-namics, ALM You Shine Stamp Set, ALM You Shine Die-namics, PI Angel Stamp Set, PI Angel Die-namics, Comfy Sweater Die-namics and Merry Frame Die-namics.
I really could not be happier to see a la Modes making a come back! I always loved them and hated when that line was retired. So today I’m using ALM You Shine Stamp Set and Die-namics for my CAS design. To begin I stamped the image on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored it with Copic markers. I knew I wanted her to be the center of attraction but it needed more that just the image so I thought to dry emboss Radiating Rays Stencil to add some texture and play off of the “shine” part of the product name. So I embossed a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock and popped it up on a card base of Wild Cherry card stock.
Then I added the image, also using foam tape. I heat embossed the sentiment on Black Licorice card stock cut with Fishtail Flag Trio Die-namics, added it with foam tape, and was done! I didn’t think it really needed any embellishments so I stopped right there.
