Thinking of You - MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #472

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. I didn’t want to add strips of card stock or patterned paper so I looked around for something I could stamp for the vertical elements and came up with this: Distressed Patterns has this awesome image that worked perfectly when stamped in three colors! I love these three colors together: Sour Apple, Blu Raspberry, and Orange Zest and carried them throughout my design. I added Fab Foliage Die-namics cut from Sour Apple card stock and chose a dragonfly from Fluttering Friends Stamp Set for the focal point. It was stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and added to the foliage with foam tape for dimension.

The sentiment from the set was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics, popped up on foam and I finished off with some matching enamel dots.
