Birthday Wishes–MFT April Birthday Project Challenge

The ubiquitous circle is an ideal shape for adding a bit of softness to hard-angled square and rectangle cards. It's also fun to create circular cards to mix things up a bit. Today, our designers are sharing birthday cards that feature circles in a variety of innovative ways.

What’s better than a circle—a rainbow of circles, right? I used Basic Shapes – Circles Stencil to lay down MFT dye ink in the following colors, top to bottom: Ripe Raspberry, Cotton Candy, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Summer Splash, Blue Yonder, Wild Wisteria on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper. I adhered that with foam tape to a Sweet Tooth card stock base with a strip of Party Patterns Paper Pack down the left side.

Next I cut Birthday Wishes Die-namics from Gold Sparkle card stock, twice from white card stock scraps, adhered them together and then to the card front. I finished off with some gold glitter enamel dots.

Now, it's your turn. You have until Wednesday, May 20, at noon EDT to add your link and be eligible for the prize of $50 in MFT Cash to be spent in the MFT boutique. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

And that’s it from me today—thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
