Birthday Wishes - MFT Birthday Project Challenge--Balloons!!

Need an instant party?
Just add balloons. You simply can't deny the unfettered charm balloons bring to most any occasion. Stamps, dies, stencils — we've got the perfect balloon for any application and our designers are here today to share their ideas with you.

One-layer cards can be so cool, especially if there's lots of color so I decided to add that color with Big Balloons Stencil and Distress Ink. I used Fossilized Amber, Shabby Shutters, Broken China, Dusty Concord, and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock to begin.

Once that dried I splattered it with clean water and black acrylic ink, then hand drew in the balloon strings with a Black Copic multiliner pen.

For the sentiment, I cut Birthday Wishes Die-namics from Black Licorice card stock and adhered it with spray adhesive, then adhered the card front to a Sweet Tooth card stock base for the finish!

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! We hope to see you playing along with the challenge on the MFT Blog. Prizes are to be had!
