Countdown Kickoff - Five Days Until MFT's April Release!!

Hello and welcome to Day Five of
MFT's December Release Countdown! Release is in
five days, December 8th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing BB Sittin' Pretty Stamp Set, BB Sittin' Pretty Die-namics, Favorite Somebunny Stamp Set, Favorite Somebunny Die-namics, Abstract Triangle Background, Stitched Circle Shaker Window (Free with $60), Poppin' Polka Dots Paper Pad, Stripe Splash Paper Pad, and four new ink and card stock colors: Amarena Cherry, Lazy Day, Jalapeño Popper, and Vintage Timber. What a fun day!!

OMWord! is this set just the CUTEST!! Birdie Brown has done it again!! The door, the plants, the sentiments--it's all just perfect for creating the sweetest little scene ever!!

I knew I wanted to create a house for my door scene so first I sponged broken China Distress Ink on Sweet Tooth card stock using Mini Cloud Edges Stencil after cutting it with Slimline Starter Die-namics. The sentiment was stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink and the card front was adhered to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

Next I added some patterned paper from Wallpaper Patterns Paper Pack and created the roof, hopefully to resemble a tin roof. I used Eiffel Tower card stock and scored it using Ray of Light Stencil for guidance and popped it up on foam. The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

I cut Jalapeño Popper card stock with Grassy Edges Die-namics and layered them to with the stamped and colored Door image. The remaining images were popped up on foam for the finish! I remember sitting on my front porch just like this little sweetie is doing when I was little. Brings back amazing memories! I love this card!! It's OK to say that, right? ;-)

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Four of MFT's April Release Countdown!
