Life's a Beach - Color Throwdown Challenge #701

 

Hello! It's time for a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! Amy Rysavy is our hostess this week and what a gorgeous palette she has for us to play with! Hope to see lots of you playing along with us!

I'm using a couple of products from MFT's June Card Kit for this card: Life's a Beach Stamp Set and Shady Palm Die-namics. To begin, I sponged some Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper with, top to bottom, Grape Jelly, Fire Coral, Lemon Drop, and Summer Splash dye inks for my background. 

Next I cut white card stock with Watercolor Wash - Free Form Die-namics to create an aperture through which to view my little scene and stamped the sentiment from Life's a Beach Stamp Set with Extreme Black hybrid ink. The sponged background was adhered directly to a white card stock card base. Shady Palm Die-namics was cut three times from Black Licorice card stock, assembled, and popped up on the background with foam tape, then adhered the card front, also with foam.
