Twisted ;-)

The sentiment on the front of this card, from My Favorite Things' latest "twisted" set, Twisted Threesome, will be appreciated by all stampers who have an outside-of-the-home job, I'm thinkin', and the inside sentiment says the rest. We'd *much* rather be home stamping, but the job pays the bills and buys the stamps, paper, ink...you get the picture, LOL. My boss reads my blog, but I know she'll appreciate this and she knows I appreciate my job ;-)

I'm using Digital Girl and I love how well this set takes to paper piecing. The small patterns in Basic Grey's new Origins paper are perfect! I thought that grid pattern looks like the walls of a cubicle and that little dot paper reminds me of flooring. I stamped the image on a Perfect Paper Panel with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored any non-paper pieced areas with Copic markers. A few embellishments and it was done!

Thanks so much for dropping in today! Tomorrow's Stamp Simply Challenge day, so be sure to stop back to see what we're doing.

  5. I love it! So true!! I handed in a letter to retire from teaching because a big benefit was going to be dropped. Now they are not dropping it and I don't know what to do. It is a love hate thing. I love teaching but I hate the 12 hour 6 days a week. That is what it take for me as a first grade teacher. But like your card says it gives me money to spend on my stamping and no time to do it. What is a girl to do?
I totally love your card all the detail is wonderful!
