Friendship

myePblogpost_2012aug23

Hi there! I’m back today with a card using some eclectic Paperie supplies.

First of all, I’m using this gorgeous
Graphic 45 paper called Once Upon a Springtime. I love the aquas and peaches in this collection. So, I made my card base with a couple of patterned papers from the collection, then added some lace from Graphic 45 Trim Staples and some Copic marker distressed seam binding, topped with an MFT Die-namics Royal Rose and Die-namics Royal Leaves flower. To finish that off, I added some Maya Road Vintage Leaf Pins in brown. The sentiment, from MFT’s Clearly Sentimental About Friendship, was stamped on Whip Cream card stock and sponged with Antique Linen Distress Ink. The corrugated card stock layer was cut with my Die-namics Designer Labels 3 STAX and the center layer of the sentiment element was cut with my Die-namics Artist Palette and Brush. It was the perfect size and the thumb hole doesn’t show with the sentiment layered on top. The sentiment itself was stamped on part of my Die-namics Layered Label set with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and was popped up on foam tape.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set.
