Happy Wednesday, all! Since it *is* Wednesday, it’s time for Color Throwdown! Today’s challenge is brought to us by Kerri, based on this gorgeous inspiration piece!
My design is super simple. First thing, on a Sweet Tooth card stock base, I adhered a Die-namics Large Fancy Flourish die cut from Kraft corrugated paper. Then I stamped the sentiment, from Finishing Flourishes, with Black Licorice Ink and started working on my butterflies. I substituted Razzle Berry card stock, Bubblegum card stock, and Orange Fizz card stock for the challenge colors and die cut some butterflies with my Die-namics Butterflies set. Then I stamped some flourishes on them with Kraft Ink, adhered some clear jewels, and then popped them up on bits of foam.
Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set and more butterflies.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD225 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
