Hey, there, everyone! It’s time for another Color Throwdown challenge! This week’s colors are brought to us by Melody. I’m so in love with her inspiration piece!!
I’m still slowly building my Christmas card stash and I love using non-traditional colors so this fit right in with my plans :) I started with a Kraft card stock base and stamped the front with MFT’s Sheet Music Background, using Kraft ink. I popped up a partial layer of Primitive Cream card stock and added a Winter Wreath Die-namics feature, cut with both colors of green in today’s challenge. The bow was cut with Tempting Turquoise and popped up on foam and sequins became the berries. I stamped the sentiment, from DC Ornament Banner Builder on more Primitive Cream card stock with Kraft ink, layered it with turquoise, and cut with First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics flags.
The inside has a sentiment from LJD Grand Holiday Greetings.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD267 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our fabulous guest designer for November, Cindy Lawrence!
