Hi, everyone, I’m back again with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
As usual, I went all A2 on my card. I started with a Kraft card stock base, then added another Kraft card stock layer. Then I added a Primitive White card stock mat for my scene, which was stamped on Sno Cone card stock. Before I started stamping, I cut out my Snow Drifts Die-namics with some chunky glitter paper and lightly drew an outline of it on my Sno Cone card stock paper with a pencil. I stamped the trees from Inspired by Winter using Timber Green ink and Hot Fudge ink, stamping off once before stamping some of the trees to add a look of distance. I went back with a brown marker and highlighted the trunks of the evergreens a bit for realism, then colored in a sunset with come Copic markers.
Before assembling, I tied around some hemp cord, then put everything together, popping up the glitter paper on foam tape. To finish it off, I added a Let It Snowflake Die-namics with a hemp cord tied Timber Green button. The sentiment is from MPD Starry Christmas and was stamped in Timber Green ink on a Sentiment Strips Die-namics die cut, also popped up on foam.
For the inside, I stamped another sentiment from MPD Starry Christmas with Timber Green ink.
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by again! See you back tomorrow for November Teaser, Day Two!
