Hi, everyone! It’s time for this month’s Release Rewind! I love this feature since it gives the designers a great opportunity to use some products we might not have gotten around to using during the release. This almost always happens for me so I’m really excited about this chance to be creative with the amazing new MFT products that are available right HERE, right NOW in the MFT Boutique. To get all the details, be sure to stop by the MFT Blog.
I’m using the two recently released Pure Innocence sets for my cards today: my first card uses MPD Sophisticated Snowflakes and my second one uses Pure Innocence Happy Heart Snowman.
The images in this new snowflake set are indeed sophisticated. Very lacy and gorgeous! I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then trimmed a layer of Nightshift Blue card stock. I stamped the snowflakes with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I stamped part of a sentiment from LJD Snowflake Splendor on a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock with Nightshift Blue ink and popped it up on foam. I finished off by adding some clear gems to the center of the snowflakes and to the sentiment strip.
I stamped the rest of the sentiment on the inside of the card.
*****
For my second card, I started with a Black Licorice card stock base and added a panel of Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Chevron Cover-Up Die-namics.
Then I stamped strip of Sweet Tooth card stock with images from LJD Hearts and Stitches with Black Licorice ink and Bubblegum ink and added some red gems to the dots. I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card and colored the image with Copic markers, then stamped the “Love” sentiment with Black Licorice ink before popping it up on foam.
On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the set with Black Licorice ink.
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
