Welcome to Day Three of MFT’s November Release Countdown! Release is on November 12th at 10pm, but in the meantime, be sure to hop on over to the MFT Blog to see what the participating designers have for you today, along with some ways to snag some free stuff!
Today I’m showing you another card using Get Well Wishes—November’s Free With $60 set. I’ve used is several times already during Teasers but today is it’s official preview day. It’s such a great set with wonderful sentiments and gorgeous fonts—it’s going to be a go to set for sure!
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and stamped the sentiment from Get Well Wishes with Chocolate Brown ink. Then I created my scene panel, starting with Chocolate Brown card stock, Safety Orange card stock, and Sno Cone card stock that I embossed with Chevron Cover-Up Die-namics. Then I cut some Flat-Bottom Clouds Die-namics from gray card stock and stamped them with Steel Gray ink and several stamp set: LJD Distressed Diamonds, LJD Spring Backgrounds, and LJD Art Expression Text. I also cut out a small balloon from Up, Up and Away Die-namics and stamped it with the corresponding image from Inspired by Up, Up and Away with Safety Orange ink. I tied around some brown hemp twine and tied on a Safety Orange button to finish it off.
On the inside, I stamped another sentiment from Get Well Wishes with Chocolate Brown ink.
And that’s it for today! Thanks SO much for stopping by! Hope to see you back again tomorrow!
