I have several projects using MSTN Wild Things to show you tonight. My first card is kinda CAS. In a way. A little. I started with a Berrylicious card stock base and worked directly on it. I stamped the giraffe from MSTN Wild Things on X-Press It Blending card with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored it with Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment, from the set, with Black Licorice hybrid ink. I added some Grassy Edges Die-namics, cut from Safety Orange card stock and Gumdrop Green card stock and slipped the giraffe’s legs down between the layers. I added a sun, cut from Lemon Drop card stock with a circle from Blueprints 21 Die-namics and some clouds cut from Sweet Tooth card stock with Flat-Bottom Clouds Die-namics.

Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside.

My second card has a little more going on ;-)

I again started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I popped up two panels of Sweet Tooth card stock side-by-side. One I stenciled with black embossing paste using Zebra stencil and the other I sponged Kraft dye ink through Giraffe stencil. I added the half-circle, cut from Berrylicious card stock with Blueprints 21 Die-namics and a Stitched Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics cut from Jellybean Green card stock. I stamped the sentiment with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, then popped it up on foam. I cut the three image die from X-Press It Blending card with MSTN Wild Things Die-namics, stamped the coordinating images with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up on foam.

I stamped the sentiment on the inside along with a strip of the Giraffe stencil paper.

My third project is an adorable treat box made with MSTN Wild Things and Candy Train Die-namics. I love the train, that could be used as a centerpiece, but individual cars are perfect for party favors!

For all of the cars, I stamped card stock with Kraft dye ink and Wood Plank Background and used Black Licorice card stock and Kraft card stock for all of the wheels, with the car color for the “hub cap”. The wagon tongues were cut from Kraft card stock and also stamped with Kraft ink and Wood Plank Background. All of the animals were cut from X-Press It Blending Card with MSTN Wild Things Die-namics and stamped with the coordinating image from MSTN Wild Things with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers. The end car was made from Blu Raspberry card stock and has the lion image…

…this one with the elephant image was made from Orange Fizz card stock

…the next one with the giraffe image is using the new Limelight card stock

…and the first one, with the zebra, was made from Red Hot card stock. See the wagon car tongue? To make the train, you adhere each end to a car—there’s a scored rectangle to show you exactly where to place it. There is also a score line for wheel placement—they thought of everything! The little car sits up on the wheels and is surprisingly strong when put together. These are full of kisses, no filler at all and there’s no buckling!

Here’s how I attached some toothpicks so I could keep the little wild things sitting pretty in that nest of Kisses :) I just glued some toothpicks to their legs and stuck them in.

And that’s it! I hope I’ve given you some ideas for using YOUR MSTN Wild Things stamp set in some fun ways. Thanks so much for stopping by…and happy shopping!! And don’t forget that MFT will be giving away TWO $100 vouchers—to have a chance to win one, be sure to comment on each of the designers’ blogs by end of the day on Thursday, December 4th. The winners will be announced on the MFT Blog on the Release Rewind Day Two post on Friday, December 5th. Good luck!!
