I Hope Santa Spoils You Rotten–MFT Color Challenge #59

MFTCPC59_2016dec9

Hi, all, I'm back with this week's MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: In the Buff, Orange Fizz, Green Room, and Dill Pickle. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I thought these colors would work for a Christmas card if I used BB Santa’s Elves and I think it turned out OK :) I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut it out with the coordinating BB Santa’s Elves Die-namics, and colored it with Copic markers. I added a strip of Proper Pinstripes Paper Pack to the bottom of a Sweet Tooth card stock base, and did a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors tied around some baker’s twine, and popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape.

For a little added interest, I splattered some black Kuretake Gansai watercolor paint and then popped the colored image up on foam to finish up.

Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you soon!
