countdownday2a_2016dec5

Hi all and welcome to Day Two of MFT’s December Release Countdown! It won’t be long now! Release is tomorrow night at 9pm EST—be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details. Today we’re previewing Feel Better Stamp Set, Feel Better Die-namics, Kind Words Stamp Set, Kind & Kindness Die-namics, Band-Aids Die-namics, Bedside Comfort Die-namics, and Roses in Bloom Die-namics - previous Free with $60

NewReleaseCountdown_Day2

I have a couple of cards for you using today’s product line up starting with this simple sympathy card. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then cut Star Grid Cover-Up Die-namics from more Sweet Tooth card stock and removed random pieces of the cut outs by just bending and rubbing it between my fingers (I love the dimension this gives –more so than if all the cut outs were removed, I think) then I adhered it to the card base with spray adhesive.

Next I cut Roses in Bloom Die-namics from Wild Cherry card stock and Gumdrop Green card stock and popped it up on foam mounting tape, along with Well Wishes Die-namics, cut from Black Licorice card stock. I stamped the “WITH” part of the sentiment, from Essential Sentiments, on Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice dye ink, popped it up, and it was done.

My second card will give the recipient a giggle—or at least a smile ;-)

This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base on which I adhered On-Point Patterns Paper Pack. Then I tore another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock in two, trimmed it to allow a border of patterned paper, and stamped the sentiment from Feel Better with Black Licorice dye ink and popped both pieces up on foam mounting tape.

I then cut Band-Aids Die-namics from Biscotti card stock (near perfect match to the real thing, IMO), added googly eyes for whimsy, and popped them up on foam, as well.

And that’s it for Day Two of
MFT’s December Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
