MFTWSC342_2017jul20

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I’ve always loved this sentiment from LJD Beautiful Baby stamp set so I built my card for today around it. It was stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder, then adhered to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. The top detail of the sketch was done with Brushed Gold Card Stock cut with Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die-namics and Lucky Prints Paper Pack cut with Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics and popped up on foam mounting tape.

The bottom detail was done with Basic Stitch Lines Die-namics, and also popped up on foam. My large star was created with Brushed Gold Card Stock, Star Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics, Star Shaker Pouches, and Queen & Co. Baby Beads for filler along with some tiny iridescent star confetti. I adhered that to the card front and finished off with more stars, cut from Gold Sparkle Card Stock cut with Blueprint 13 Die-namics and Blueprints 25 Die-namics.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
