MFT August Card Kit and a Surprise!!

Hi, everyone, today is the first day of peeks at MFT’s August Card Kit, X’s and O’s Card Kit! You will fall in LOVE with it just like I have done!

Now for the surprise! If you’re a fan of the now-retired Birdie Brown set Witch Way is the Candy? you will be just as happy as I am—we have an updated version that will please your Halloween lovin’ heart! It’s releasing tomorrow night with the kit and I’ll be using that tomorrow but today my card is all about the kit. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details about both products!

What a super fun kit this is! You can go interactive with the included boards and filler pieces but I decided to incorporate the mid-month Free With $60 Huge Love Die-namics on my card today. To begin, I stamped the board image and then the playing pieces images on Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice dye ink and Wild Cherry dye ink then cut it with Huge Love die-namics making sure to overlap the stamped images.



I removed the pieces, added foam mounting tape to the backs, filled the opening with plain card stock die cuts, and replaced the originals, now popped up on foam for dimension. I stamped the partial sentiment under it, added some hearts cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics, and popped the whole thing up on a Wild Cherry card stock base stamped with Bundles of Blossoms background and Black Licorice dye ink. Love the way this turned out!
