Hello, BOOTIFUL–MFT August Hits & Highlights Design Team Challenge

Hello, all, welcome to the August MFT Hits & Highlights Design Team Challenge! Our mission is to use sliders on our cards or projects this month.

Slip, slide, and twist your way to interactive cards featuring scenes with movement, created with our range of slider discs and elements. Assembling slider mechanisms is a breeze with these products sized to perfectly fit within your slider channels. I thought it would be cute to use Slider Channel Builder Die-namics and Slider Channel Companion Window Die-namics to create an interactive sentiment element on my card today. The background was done using Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and, top to bottom, Nightshift Blue dye ink, Grape Jelly dye ink, and Orange Fizz dye ink, The grass at the bottom was done by flicking Copic Markers in several greens from the edge up until it was filled in.



Images are all from BB Fab-BOO-lous Friends and BB Fab-BOO-lous Friends Die-namics, stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink on No-Line Coloring Card Stock and colored with Copic Markers. The interactive strip was stamped with “PULL” from Interactive Labels stamp set. When I cut out the window, I saved that strip and adhered it back on the interactive pull strip so it blends with the rest of the background until the strip is pulled. The little witch image is popped up on two layer of foam mounting tape and acts as a stop when pulled out. Another super fun card to create!
