You’re Going Places! CTD #456

Hey, there, everyone! I’m back today with the latest Color Throwdown Challenge! Lisa is our hostess this week and I love her bright and summery color palette based on her equally summery inspiration piece!




I decided to use my BB Up in the Air balloon with a stenciled sun behind it to bring in my colors. I sponged the sun using Sunshine dye ink and Radiating Rays Stencil (WHAT did I do before I had this, LOL!?) Then I stamped a row of houses and trees across the bottom and since I didn’t want to bring in more colors I left them plain and just colored in some “grass” between them.



The balloon and clouds were stamped on No-Line Coloring Card Stock with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored with Copic Markers, and popped up on foam mounting tape to finish.
