Hello and welcome to Day Five of MFT’s August Release Countdown! We have another fabulous lineup for you this month and today we’re previewing Flamazing Stamp Set, Flamazing Die-namics, Written in the Stars Stamp Set, Shining Stars Die-namics, Rectangle Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics, Rectangle Shaker Pouches, and Mixed Dimensional Star Confetti. Release is on August 8th at 9pm so mark your calendars and don’t forget to stop by the MFT Blog to get all the details.
I have a couple of cards for you and the first one up is using Flamazing and Flamazing Die-namics. I created a little scene on a Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics with a watercolor wash background and Beach Scene Builder Die-namics.
My images were stamped (ink colors listed below) and added to the tag scene with foam mounting tape and I accented the sun by applying molding paste with Radiating Rays Stencil behind the tag. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Some Sparkling Clear Mix Sequins finished it off.

My second card uses Written in the Stars Stamp Set and Shining Stars Die-namics with a shaker element.
First of all I dry embossed Radiating Rays Stencil on Sweet Tooth card stock then cut it with Star Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics. I created my shaker element using Heat Resistant Acetate, foam mounting tape, and assorted sequins (see below), then popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base. The star frame and smaller stars were cut from Silver Sparkle card stock.
For the “Star” part of the sentiment, I sponged Sweet Tooth card stock with three blues (see supply list for colors) in an ombre’ pattern and cut the die out. The rest of the sentiment is from Written in the Stars and was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and popped up on foam. The die cut was also adhered with foam tape and it was done.
And there you have it for Day Five of MFT’s August Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope to see you back tomorrow for Day Four!
