For this card I created a scene using a couple of the ice-skating flamingos—can it get any better than ice –skating flamingos?? I started by sponging the background, then added a frozen “pond” using Whimsical Waves Background stamped with Versamark on Stone Gray card stock and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder to imitate skate marks. I added Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics, elements from Beach Scene Builder Die-namics, trees from Cool Christmas, and stamped the sentiment.

The flamingos were stamped on No Line Coloring Card Stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and popped up on the card front with foam tape.

And there you have it for MFT’s October Card Kit Release! I seriously LOVE this kit! I hope I’ve given you some ideas for using YOUR Festive Flamingos Card Kit so go shop! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
