Beautiful Butterfly–Color Throwdown Challenge #524

Hello and welcome to the first Color Throwdown Challenge of 2019! I can’t believe I’m typing 2019!!!! Dang! I hope everyone had a great holiday season and that you’re ready to get some crafting done! This week Amy Rohl is our hostess and she’s got a gorgeous color combo based on an awesome inspiration piece. So let’s get inky!!





I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and built on it. First, a strip of Black & White Basic’s Paper Pack, then Single Stitch Line Tag-Corner Rectangle Frames Die-namics cut from Black Licorice card stock. Next I added Grand Greenery cut from Sour Apple and Gumdrop Green card stock and a butterfly from Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set and Die-namics.



Then I added the sentiment, Beautiful Die-namics and a sentiment from Hello, Beautiful Stamp Set (I love these two so much!), heat embossed on Translucent Vellum cut with Essential Slanted Sentiment Strips Die-namics and finished off with some glittery enamel dots.
